About this listen

When Dr. Neel was walking around, pondering the challenges that seem to be running rampant in our era - feeding issues with infants, airway issues with kids and adults, and tension in seemingly everyone's nervous systems and bodies, he uttered aloud the question, "How are we going to help everyone go from a compromised airway to an alchemized airway?" And once he said that aloud, his wife suggested omitting the word "airway" to broaden the phrase, and it resonated. It's the homage to Paulo Coelho's brilliant book, The Alchemist, that of alchemy, that seems fitting in characterizing this journey many families seem to find themselves on. It's a rigorous process at times to access healing and a non-linear one. This lead-turning-into-gold process can be daunting, and it takes a village. On this podcast, Dr. Neel carries engaging conversations with healers who have guided others through challenging moments - ones that can hold the paradoxical tension of pain and joy all at once. In the 1st season, Dr. Neel focused on interviewing experts in the fields of birth psychology and embodied embryology, and in the 2nd season, he focuses on those who journey with families from birth onward.Copyright 2026 Dr. Neel Bulchandani Alternative & Complementary Medicine Hygiene & Healthy Living Physical Illness & Disease

  • 73. How to Align Consciousness with Unconsciousness with Jesse Coomer
    Apr 15 2026
In this long awaited episode of the Compromised to Alchemized podcast, I sit down with breathwork expert and author Jesse Coomer to explore the "anatomy of consciousness" and the evolution of human connection. As "Xennials," we look back at the technological shift of the late '90s, the Y2K hysteria, and how growing up in a world of dial-up modems shaped their unconscious perspective on change and resilience. We dive deep into the "inner universe," discussing the relationship between the conscious and unconscious mind, and why getting to know yourself often requires a circle of honest friends. We explore the massive shifts in human history, from the discovery of fire to the rise of artificial intelligence. When we invented fire, we outsourced digestion. By cooking our food, we freed up biological energy, altered our facial structures, and created the "lunch hour"—ultimately building civilization in the time we used to spend chewing. Now, as "Xennials" standing on the precipice of the AI revolution, we are undergoing a second great outsourcing: The outsourcing of thinking. Jesse discusses the critical need for a new "language of breath" to keep our conscious and unconscious minds in alignment. We transcend the mechanics of the body to explore the vast "emotional landscape" of human potential. Jesse delves into his "Personal Legend"—a concept inspired by Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist—revealing that his purpose isn’t to be the hero of the story, but the "Yoda" or "Big Brother" who guides others to their own treasure.Jesse Coomer is a renowned breathwork authority, founder of the Breathwork Tactics program, author of numerous influential breathwork books, educational Youtuber, and as co-founder & lead faculty at The Language of Breath Breathworker School, he trains future breathwork coaches.Jesse’s scientifically grounded approach to breath training caters to a diverse audience, including first responders, athletes, and CEOs. His programs enhance focus, decision-making, and overall well-being, offering specialized techniques for stress management, performance improvement, and recovery. His evidence-based methods set a high standard in breathwork, reflecting a commitment to excellence that has profoundly impacted countless lives, helping individuals achieve both personal and professional success.Time Stamps 00:00:00 | Introduction00:06:25 | The origin story of The Breathwork Channel00:15:36 | The anatomy of consciousness and is AI capable of the different levels00:25:50 | The dot com bubble and its effect on consciousness00:31:09 | Treating AI like fire, it is beneficial and dangerous00:44:14 | The difference between consciousness and unconsciousness00:57:30 | How to align consciousness and unconsciousness01:05:30 | Jesse’s Personal Legend01:14:42 | Jesse’s keys to knowing he is on the right path01:32:10 | What Jesse’s 95 year old self would say to himConnect with JesseInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/jessecoomerbreath/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/JesseCoomerWebsite:https://www.jessecoomer.com/The Language of Breath Collective: https://languageofbreathcollective.com/homeBreath Work Tactics: https://breathworktactics.com/🎵 like the music?
