    Good Morning CoinDroppers!

Today we're talking about two new indie games that got announce along with the deep dive Sucker Punch gave us on Ghost of Yotei so lets get into it!

    The Mound

A new co-op indie game set on a cursed island where you and up to three friends try to survive the Lovecraftian madness and leave the island with untold treasure. The game sounds great on paper and looks interesting enough but my personal fear is that this game will play like Warhammer Vermintide. Which isn't a bad game just one that isn't really that fun in my opinion.

    Tombwater

Our second new indie tittle for the night is inspired by the souls like genre and the good old Legend of Zelda games like Link to the Past. This game seems to combine western ascetic with occult horror. Throw in some souls like mechanics and a heap of nostalgic art style and my interest is peaked.

    Ghost of Yotei

Sony gave us a state of play for Ghost of Yotei and we got a look at some of the cool new mechanics of the game as we as the arsenal you'll have access to in the game. There's really not much to say here other than it looks like all the improvements they've made are a step in the right direction. Replacing the journal with the wolf pack function is a cool new unique way to handle questing and I cant wait to see how that all comes together.

    Good Morning Coindroppers

I hope you're all having a good week so far and enjoying the summer. Today we're talking about Mindseye, The Switch 2 and how Nintendo continues to just be the worse, and a new indie game Midnight Walkers.

    Mindseye

To be more specific here we're actually talking about the fact that someone on the team, including the CEO seems to think that the game failed due to "sabotage" both internal and external. Seems like a bit of a stretch....

    Switch 2

To probably no ones surprise we're talking about the switch 2 again and once again the information isnt great. Turns out Nintendo thought it was a good idea to put in proprietary protocols on the Switch 2's USB C port so they can brick your system if you don't use THEIR products. Meaning no battery packs, no other chargers, no third party accessories. Seriously how does Nintendo STILL have fans? Speaking of fans maybe the switch 2 needs some better ones because it seems like that system gets incredibly hot when docked and when held in hand.

    Midnight Walkers

A new indie extraction shooter from Korean Dev One Way Ticket. Honestly... It's not as impressive as I was hoping. Played it a bit after recording and boy does it feel uninspired and boring. Nothing unique or interesting about this game at all...

    Jul 2 2025

    Good Morning CoinDroppers

Today we... don't really have a whole lot for you. We're in the wake of the big summer shows so there isn't a ton new to talk about. However we do have news. Primarily that we will officially be at PAX West as media this year and I cannot understate how excited I am by that. Thank all of your for your listener and viewship. We really couldn't have done this without you and I cannot be more grateful to you all.

    Resident Evil Requiem

We got some gameplay of the long awaited RE9 as well as a bit of an interview. So once again we're gonna talk about Resident Evil and clear up the incredibly incorrect information we said last time. Sorry about that.

    Blood Message

Blood Message is an excellent new game from Net Ease that looks like they achieved all the things Ubisoft failed to do with Assassins Creed Shadows. Honestly this game looks amazing and if it can deliver the narrative single player experience it seems to promise it will be a very good game.
