  • Episode 54 - The Tim Show
    May 29 2024

    Good Morning Coindroppers,

Today is a bit of a mystery show to me. Mike and Tim were supposed to do a show together but I guess something came up? I'm not sure I was on vacation. Regardless looks like Tim did a solo show and you get to find out what its about! I genuinely have no idea. Enjoy!

Side note, Mike forgot to cut the pre show ramble from last weeks episode. Sorry for all the confusion on that. Once an episode is uploaded to our host there is no fixing it without fully deleting the episode and reuploading which then messes up our metrics because we also lose all those listens on that episode. All this is to say, blame Mike. lol

  • Episode 53 - Assassins Creed Shadows and The PSN/PC Issue
    May 22 2024

    Hello Coindroppers,

Welcome back to the podcast sorry for the unannounced week off but we made this one a bit longer. I had some big topics I wanted to talk about and couldn't really do them justice without Tim so here we are!

    First off today;

We're talking about a trippy Horror game called Karma the Dark World. Not much is known about this game other than what's on their steam page, graphically it looks pretty impressive and it kinda has some Lovecraftian vibes to it so I'm sold.

Then we talk about the new Assassins Creed Shadows trailer and the "controversy" around that. Personally I'm stoked for the game but would love to hear your thoughts.

After that some major news for retro gaming, Someone has made a software that can NATIVELY port N64 games to the PC which opens the door to all kinds of improvements. See the link below for the article and video we referenced.

Then our lead topic for the night the PSN/PC controversy and our take on the situation as well as well researched information. There's more to this issue than people think and we're here to set the record straight.

We follow that up with some quick fire news (mostly about Microsoft) and that's a wrap. Hope you all enjoy it and Tim & Mike will see you next week.

  • Episode 52 - One whole year of slightly higher than amateur level podcasting
    May 8 2024

    Good Morning Coindroppers!

Tim is off on a religious holiday thing this week so Mike is joining me for this episode and don't worry he also did the editing too.

Today we discuss Xbox's announcement of their upcoming showcase as well as the games coming to gamepass this month. Followed by the announcement of a new Batman Arkham game which will be exclusive to the Meta Quest 3 and our theories about it. Here's hoping it doesn't suck as much as the last Batman VR game which was a glorified tech demo. Then to wrap up our main news, Mike shares his impressions with Grey Zone Warfare. The new open world extraction shooter that just released into early access.

For our Quickfire segment we discuss the fact that Alan Wake II still hasn't recouped the cost of development and apparently Project Awakening is still happening. If you don't remember this game it was showed off at E3 2018 and then there was nothing. Apparently it's still in development, I hope we see more about it soon.
