Queue the film noir music, it's the San Diego Chronicles!!!

Knipp retired as a Sgt from the Pima County Sheriff's Department, then headed West and became an Officer with San Diego PD. He spent 11 years there, working patrol and motors. Because he kept a journal, he has a "plethora" of stories...(he'll appreciate the big word) hahaha

Buckle up, we're going to take a few episodes to make our way through his portion of his career in law enforcement. I'm so glad to do my part, helping Joe create this legacy for his family!!!

Turn it up, enjoy the show...

If you enjoyed getting to know Steve in his first episode, then you will appreciate this one for sure. We were able to dig a little deeper into his career with the FBI, his service in Sierra Vista, Washington DC and finally here in Tucson.

Imagine growing up with a desire to be an FBI agent only to be one of the top agents back in your home town?

It was a pleasure getting to know Steve and I'm honored to have him as one of the newest members of The Squad!!!

Enjoy the show, let me know your thoughts!

We did it! We were able to make it through the rest of Jim's career. Although I'm sure we left plenty of stories unspoken. That's how it goes with many of my guests, they remember more stories after they leave the studio.

But I'm grateful to him and to you for continuously coming back and tuning in. I see you! I see the stats climb, the book sales roll in and I want you all to know I'm grateful.

Speaking of downloads, we are currently sitting at 68,602! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!!

Jim can only take me in small doses, but that''s alright...it means I get to have him over on multiple occasions to get through his career. I've started his book, "Suburban Policing, Cleveland Style" so I know where to quiz him.

Turn this one up, he has at least one more visit on the calendar. I enjoy his company, his stories and I'm glad I get to share him with you all.

Robert grew up in Upstate New York, knew he was not going to college, and left for Air Force bootcamp shortly after graduating high school. Initially he was in logistics/ supply, but cross trained a few years later and began flying in C130's, gathering battlefield intel for boots on the ground!

At 38, he retired and decided to go into law enforcement. After several ride alongs with family in Las Vegas and one with Pima county, he knew that was his next adventure.

In 2000, he finished the police academy and trained in Operations Division East, then got assigned to Midtown (my second-most favorite division in the city). In 2008, he promoted to Detective and was assigned to some of the toughest units in Criminal Investigations, Child Abuse and Adult Sexual Assault. He finished his 25 year career in Team Detectives...

I'm glad he agreed to be on the show a whole week and half after retiring. And I'm excited to share him with you all.

Steve grew up in Tucson and graduated from Catalina HS before heading to Northern Arizona University. After graduating, he worked as a Fraud Investigator for Chase Bank before getting picked up by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1998. After graduating the academy in Quantico, he was assigned to the San Francisco Field office.

We had a limited time to sit and chat, so Steve is already on the calendar to come back and share more exploits. Be sure to tune in and catch his 20+ year career.

Jim's inspiration into law enforcement began when local police and fire were called to his Grandparent's home in Warrensville Heights, OH. Years later, he went on to ride with the same officer who responded that fateful day, while he served as a reserve officer until he was old enough apply.

Hired in 1977, his career began and he never looked back. Because he was able to accomplish so much (Motors, SWAT, detective/investigations) we just scratched the surface of his careering this episode. I've already got him in the books to come back two Saturdays in August.

His book, "Suburban Policing; Cleveland Style" is a memoir detailing the more extraordinary scenes and incidents he witnessed over his career. It's available on Amazon.com, and Kindle.

Let's give him a warm welcome and please...enjoy the show!

Catherine's Father was on the Sheriff's Department which inspired her to begin her career at 18! She started in the jail and promoted to Deputy as soon as she turned 21.

Her experiences, much like all first responders and corrections officers, are on the fringe of what "Normal" folks could imagine. The shenanigans begin as she starts her career on the streets.

I'm grateful to her, as I am with all my guests, that she overcame her nerves and agreed to be on the show. Give her a listen but more importantly, welcome her to The Squad and show her some love!!!
