EPISODE 200!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?? Thank you everyone, so much, for sticking with me and the show! I'm so grateful and appreciative of your support!

I approached Steve months ago, shortly after he retired, and asked him to be on the show. He told me he would consider it, but he needed to decompress since he had just left the job he held for more than half his life!!!!

For 32 years he served the City of Tucson! He spent 10 years on patrol, then made it into the air unit where he was commercially certified in fixed wing and rotor craft. We only made it through his patrol time in this episode, so I'm excited to hear the stories from the air unit when he returns...

Give him a warm welcome and enjoy the stories!!!

    Well Y'all...

This episode is just as funny, gross and riveting as the first as we make our way through Tom's book, "Old School; The Police, The Public, and the Pranks."

You'll mostly laugh, but I guarantee you'll enjoy the whole episode! So it's not a bad thing that he'll be back because we still have more to cover!

Thank you all, it has been almost four years (October 27th is the show anniversary) and over 70k downloads! I'm honored, grateful and humbled to have you all here with me on this journey!

    I know, I know...

But if you had the discipline to keep a journal of the most outrageous stories over your career, you also could be on the show and have eleventy episodes! Hahahahahhahaha

I enjoy his company, the stories are interesting and I'm always happy to have him over. Sit back, relax and enjoy the episode! Heeeeeeeeeere's JOE!

JOhn and I met at the gym, no shock there, but we started up a conversation and he said he would gladly come and chat about his experiences. He was "painfully" aware of the show because I never stop talking about it, but I was honored to host him and he's welcome back anytime.

Both his Army experiences and his time with the CIA (What he could actually talk about on the air) were very interesting to me and I'm glad to help him create his own personal legacy!

Give him a warm welcome and enjoy the show!

It was such a great pleasure to see Jill again! I think the last time we saw each other was when Sheriff Dupnik had all detectives pair up and ride with the Patrol Deputies for Y2K!

Growing up in Iowa, she headed west and worked odd jobs until she was hired by the Pima County Sheriff's Department. She spent a good amount of time in the Foothills District until being promoted to Detective. There, she served in a number of investigative units before being taken into Robbery Assault and eventually Homicide.

Like Bill Hanson, she's been on a few True Crime/ Murder Mystery TV episodes, google her! So I am honored she agreed to be on the show. We didn't cover everything, so I look forward to her return later in October...stay tuned!

Brian and I met while playing Flag football in the police olympics every year, he played wide receiver for the University of Arizona back in the Dick Tomey days!

Later on we worked together in Operations Division South!

He started his career in Ops West Patrol where he made the SWAT team and became involved pretty heavy into the Police Union...

He promoted to Sergeant, holding a variety of assignments from Patrol, the Air Unit, and Burglary to name a few! Now he teaches Law and Public Safety for the Sahuarita School District, warping young minds!

It was great catching up, I hope you enjoy this week's episode as well.

He's a cop, an author and a philanthropist! Tom continues to do the Lord's work even in retirement, a common sentiment amongst the many Public Servants I've come to meet over the years.

He began his career in Detroit, MI in 1973, retiring in 2004. He moved to warmer temps in AZ, but still had a desire to do more. He decided to become a Crime Scene Investigator with the Town of Marana Police.

His book, "Old School; The Police, the Public, and the Pranks" is available at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and he even provided his email in case you're looking to get your hands on a signed copy!!!

He's a part of the "Boys in Blue Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club." They raise funds to help fellow brothers and sisters who are either injured or killed in the line of duty. You can find their website and upcoming fundraisers at "https://boysinbluelemc.net/fundraisers" and tune in to hear Tom speak about the fundraiser coming up tomorrow, on September 11th.

Thanks everyone! Turn it up and give him a warm welcome!

Queue the film noir music, it's the San Diego Chronicles!!!

Knipp retired as a Sgt from the Pima County Sheriff's Department, then headed West and became an Officer with San Diego PD. He spent 11 years there, working patrol and motors. Because he kept a journal, he has a "plethora" of stories...(he'll appreciate the big word) hahaha

Buckle up, we're going to take a few episodes to make our way through his portion of his career in law enforcement. I'm so glad to do my part, helping Joe create this legacy for his family!!!

Turn it up, enjoy the show...
