• E50 - Nathalie Gil Updates Us on Projects with Sea Shepherd Brazil
    Jul 26 2025

In today's episode of the Captain Paul Watson Foundation Podcast, we get a chance to speak with Nathalie Gil of Sea Shepherd Brazil. Did you know that Brazil consumes more sharks than any other nation? This surprised me and Nathalie explains why sharks are being eaten so readily in her country. Nathalie and I cover many topics impacting Brazilian marine ecosystems and many of the campaigns that her team is working on to save marine life. Nathalie is really excited that Sea Shepherd Brazil will be getting a new boat soon that will allow them to better protect Amazon River Dolphins (boto) and manatees.
