    Jul 16 2025

    Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, filled with gratitude and hope as we seek your guidance in our lives. Your promise in Isaiah 43:18-19 urges us to forget the former things, to let go of past hurts and sorrows that weigh us down.

Lord, we ask for your divine help in releasing the grip of our painful experiences. Grant us the strength to let go of the burdens of yesterday, enabling us to embrace the present and the bright future you have prepared for us.

Father, we stand in awe of your transformative power. We know that you are doing a new thing in our lives, making ways in the wilderness and creating streams in the desert.

Open our eyes to see the paths you are laying before us, even when we feel lost in uncertainty. Help us to trust in your ability to guide us through our challenges, providing the sustenance we need during difficult times.

As we embark on this journey of renewal, we invite your Holy Spirit to shift our perspectives. May we view our circumstances with creativity, courage, and clarity.

Teach us to be partners with you in this new work; let us recognize the potential that lies in every moment, trusting that you are crafting something beautiful from our lives.

Lord, we believe in the future you have for us—a future filled with hope and promise. As we take each step forward, help us to remain steadfast in our faith, anchored by your unfailing love and guidance.

May we be vessels of your grace, shining your light into the world around us. In every wilderness we face, help us to remember that you are with us, making a way where there seems to be none.

May your streams of living water flow through our hearts, refreshing our spirits, and renewing our hope. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

  • A Prayer for Those Drained, Disappointed, and Discouraged
    Jul 9 2025

Hello, Friend, I recently faced a situation that was wearing me down. It left me fatigued, frustrated, and feeling like a failure.

Weariness can drain our passion, strength, and determination, leaving us feeling depleted and unable to fight the good fight.

May I remind you, "Those who hope in God and wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” Isaiah 40:31.

There is a way to get your second wind, run, and not be weary. In a sense, this 'second wind' refers to a renewed strength and energy from our faith and trust in God.

So, what's the secret to finding your second wind?

It lies in our waiting on God and his promises. It's in the hope we place in the Lord, knowing that he will renew our strength and guide our steps. This waiting is not passive but filled with anticipation, grounded in love and not accusation.

How do we do that? One of my favorite methods of healing and renewing is to be thankful for specific things, practice gratitude, and not accuse yourself or complain.

Let's break it down: Start your day with gratitude, praise God throughout the day, remind yourself of his greatness, expect his intervention, and avoid self-blame or complaints.

As you wait, God breathes new strength, energy, passion, vision, and vitality into your spirit. This is his promise to you, a promise that brings hope and reassurance.

    Prayer for today:

Thank you, Lord, for your promise of strength and endurance as a reward when we wait on you.

Holy Spirit, please do not let me get stuck in a rut of negativity or fear.

Jesus, may you refresh us with joy. Grant us a gift found in the oil of hope. Revive us in your love, leading us into renewal.

Papa God, thank you for your promise that the good, loving King will renew our strength with a second wind as we await you.

May you put vigor in us again to enable us to rise with wings like an eagle.

May the wind of resistance that is pushing against us change direction.

May the gentle breeze of Jesus refresh us, recharge us, and recalibrate us to be in the jet stream of his favor, might, and power.

Please help us all shake off disappointments and embrace the robust strength of the Energized King of Kings. This strength, which is not dependent on our efforts or circumstances, is available to us through Christ, regardless of our past failures or current circumstances.

We ask for new hope to radiate in and through us.

We give you anything that has drained, disappointed, or discouraged us. We trade in our broken dreams, failures, and hurts.

Now, loving Jesus, you give us beauty for ashes. Thank you, Jesus, for this metaphor, used in Scripture, that symbolizes the transformation of our pain and suffering into something beautiful and meaningful through your love and grace.

We let go of the old. We release the disappointments. In their place, Papa God, we embrace the promise of new beginnings, for the slate has been wiped clean.

As we wait upon you, you give us new strength.

    Today’s a new day.

    Refresh and energize us.

Empower us in the spirit of his might.

    Amen.

  • Fresh New Hope Happy New Year to Second Half of 2025
    Jul 2 2025

Heavenly Father, as we stand at the threshold of a new month, we thank you for the fresh opportunity to embrace the second half of this year with renewed hope and purpose.

Your Word reminds us in Isaiah to forget the former things and to let go of our painful pasts.

Help us, Lord, to release any burdens weighing on our hearts, and infuse us with a spirit of hope, faith, and love.

We boldly proclaim over our lives today that any old life, the old ways, have passed away.

Lord, we celebrate the newness you bring; we treasure this transformation as we step into the fresh beginnings you have in store for us.

May we be attentive to the new growth in our spirits and lives, recognizing that we are indeed new creations in Christ. The past is behind us, and we choose to focus on the life and purpose you have laid before us, determined to make the most of it.

Lord, we invite your Kingdom to come and your will to be done in our lives.

We lift up the burdens of shame and condemnation, asking for your strength to break those chains. We confront the accuser and declare that by the blood of Jesus, the old narratives are erased. We rejoice in our new identity, empowered and confident in the grace you’ve bestowed upon us.

Just as You blessed Jabez, we ask that You bless us indeed in this new season. Enlarge our territories and let your hand guide us. Protect us from harm and fill this time with your grace, abundance, and favor, so that we may become a vivid testament to your goodness.

As we embark on this new month, we see it as a divine invitation to believe for more—more healing, clarity, courage, and breakthroughs.

Help us to recognize the miraculous moments that only you can orchestrate, empowering us to be more aware of your work in our lives.

May this month bring about a shift, aligning us with your perfect plans, as we pray, Jesus, grant us a spirit of wisdom and revelation so we may be more like you.

In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

  • Prayer of Jabez for Leadership and Influence
    Jun 30 2025

Welcome to the June Prayer of Jabez Challenge.

    Let’s Pray,

Heavenly Father, Like Jabez, I come before You with a heart of expectation, asking, please bless me and extend my borders. Let your hand be with me and keep me from harm so I will not experience pain as my mother did. And God did just that for Jabez and for me, I pray.

Today, Lord, I ask specifically for an increase in my leadership and management skills, and the grace to influence others.

Jesus, you are the ultimate leader, full of truth, vision, and compassion. Teach me to lead as you lead—to serve, to uplift, to empower, and to steward what you’ve entrusted to me with diligence and excellence.

Enlarge my territory, Lord. Expand my capacity to lead well—both in vision and in execution. Strengthen my ability to manage people, processes, and priorities with clarity, patience, and effectiveness. Help me to navigate difficult decisions and balance responsibility with grace.

Let your hand be with me. I rely on your wisdom, counsel, and Spirit.

Guide my daily decisions, inspire creative solutions, and raise my emotional intelligence to lead with empathy and discernment. Surround me with wise counsel and trustworthy support.

Increase my influence, so that your purpose may be fulfilled through me. Let those impacted by my leadership flourish. Help me to build others up, speak life, and cultivate environments of growth, excellence, and unity.

Keep me from harm and from misusing the authority you grant. Guard my heart from weariness and fear. Teach me to lead from a place of rest in you.

I receive this increase in leadership and influence by faith, knowing that you will complete the good work you’ve begun in me.

    In Jesus’ name,

    Amen

  • Prayer for Blessing Inspired by the Prayer of Jabez
    Jun 29 2025

Welcome to the June Prayer of Jabez Challenge.

    Let’s Pray,

    Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heart open and trusting, just as Jabez did so long ago, praying, Bless me, O bless me! Give me your best. I say yes to you. And provide your personal protection—don’t let evil hurt me, God.

You are the God of abundance, the One who gives generously without finding fault. Pour out Your favor upon my life.

Let your blessing overflow in every area: in my work, in my relationships, in my health, and in my spirit. May I walk in the fullness of your provision, lacking nothing I need to fulfill the purpose you’ve placed within me.

Enlarge my territory, Lord. Expand my influence, my opportunities, and my capacity to serve. Open new doors, place divine appointments in my path, and let my life be a conduit of your love and grace. Give me the wisdom to steward what you entrust to me well.

Let your hand be with me always, Father. May more of your spirit rest upon me. More anointing. More unction. More of God.

Guide my steps, strengthen my resolve, and protect me from harm. Keep me from evil, and from causing pain to others or myself. Guard my heart and align it with yours.

Let my life bring you glory, Lord. May your blessing flow through me to bless others, and may I always be found faithful in your sight.

    In Jesus almighty name,

    Amen.

    Let’s Pray,

Heavenly Father, just as Jabez cried out to you, so do I. “Oh, that you would bless me indeed.”

Bless me with the riches of your wisdom, with the deep things of your Spirit, and with the revelation that comes only from your presence. I hunger for the knowledge of you, above all earthly gain.
