About this listen

In this episode of Blanks Beers Bull$hit, we dive headfirst into new guys vs. farbs. We explore the real question: what is the difference between a farb and a new guy.

Expect banter, beer, strong opinions, and maybe a confession or two about our own farb moments. No reenactor is innocent here.

Grab a drink, cinch up those leggings, ditch the Oakley's, and join us for an honest (and hilarious) look at reenacting’s biggest culture clash.

Also PSA... We may have been well lubricated during the recording of this episode...you have been warned.

  • Thanksgiving Special: Grateful, Tipsy & Full of Bull$hit
    Dec 10 2025

    Send us a text

This week on Blanks, Beers & Bull$hit, we swap the arguments and outrageous takes for something a little rarer… gratitude. As the beers crack and the BS flows, the crew sits down to talk about what we’re truly thankful for. Family, friends, the reenacting community, the Bull$hit Brigade, unforgettable memories, and all the chaos that brought us here.

We’re also joined by a very special guest, Wool Blanket himself, David Lesniewski, bringing the laughs, the stories, and his own take on what he’s thankful for this season. Of course, it doesn’t stay wholesome for long. Expect questionable stories and just the right amount of nonsense as we reflect on the year and give thanks in the only way we know how, loud, honest, and slightly over-served.

Whether you’re escaping your in-laws, hiding in the garage, or pouring another drink before round two of Thanksgiving dinner, this episode is for you. Grab a drink. Grab a plate. And get grateful with the Bull$hit Brigade.

  • Crafting Bull$hit : Corey Vaughn joins the madness
    Nov 20 2025

In this episode, we sit down with the one and only Honorable Colonel Corey Vaughn to talk about the stuff that actually matters… and a whole lot of stuff that probably doesn’t.

Corey walks us through his background in reenacting — from the early days of hitching rides to events, to becoming one of the hobby’s most respected (and most entertaining) personalities.

We dig into how he got into crafting and making things, from his first projects to the incredibly detailed, historically accurate pieces he’s known for today. Expect stories, surprises, and a few moments where we were actually speechless... we know it's hard to believe.

Corey also opens up about his personal connection to World War II, sharing family history, the moments that shaped his passion, and why this era means so much to him and to so many of us in the hobby.

Naturally, we mix in the usual Bull$hit Brigade chaos: questionable jokes, questionable facts, and the usual amount of beer-fueled wisdom.

Grab a drink, settle in, and enjoy our first-ever episode with Corey Vaughn, an awesome creator, a passionate historian and a man who survived the Bull$hit.
