    Prosecutors say the teenager who opened fire inside Valley Fair Mall on Black Friday should be charged as an adult. Teachers within the West Contra Costa Unified School District are about to go on strike tomorrow, after failing to agree on wage increases and health benefits. Officials say San Francisco’s new Real-Time Investigation Center, a central hub for monitoring crime-fighting technology, is now fully operational. The Trump Administration’s Department of Housing and Urban Development is making changes to its Continuum of Care Program that would cut permanent supportive housing funding by two thirds. There has been a big problem in enforcing the new e-bike rules in Marin County. A bar on San Francisco's Kearney Street has gotten a Christmas glow-up once again. Its been almost a year since a massive fire tore through one of the world's largest battery storage plants.

There are growing safety concerns over robo-taxis following a new Waymo incident in San Francisco, where a Waymo vehicle hit a dog in the Western Addition. Work is underway on a huge 19th avenue repaving project that could be a headache at times for people who live and work on the major San Francisco street. Oakland is still one of the main hubs for Southwest Airlines. The airline is now expanding service at other Bay Area Airports. The excitement is building for next year’s Super Bowl with more entertainment acts being announced.
