About this listen

Stand Up Comedians Duane Burress Jr and Meghan O'Malley love to talk about everything and nothing, like the nothingness that exist in the void of our existence. They have so much in common. They're both struggling actors, have had 3 concussions amongst the two of them and were both born under the Cancer Sun. This podcast will have you thinking "what are they saying?".

  • Barely Making It: Episode 29 with Mary-Alice McNab
    Feb 5 2026

29 and feeling fine!!! Mary-Alice McNab joins us and we talk about why it's not fair that there aren't swings for adults, even though we totally get why adults can't use the kid swings, condoms and condiment packets are hard to open, performing stand up in front of our parents, and no sharp objects in the bedroom during sexy time.

  • Barely Making It: Episode 28 with Catherine Geller
    Jan 29 2026

We're back in the new year and we're joined by Catherine Geller. It's fully winter and we're talking about liking NY in the winter and/or all the seasons, seasonal depression - is it real? (it is), being judged and judging/not judging others. And Meg shares her feelings about a D-list celebrity, word used lightly. Do you need to be a jerk in order to get ahead? The jury is still out.

  • Episode 27!!! 2025 is over!!!
    Dec 25 2025

It's the last episode of 2025 and we are happy about that. Meg and Duane talk about books, the PR team for the Bible, Iron Man and teaching old dogs new tricks and perhaps we should do that more oftern. But seriously, when was the last time someone said "hey, want to see the trick i just taught my old dog?".

This was a challenging year for everyone and we hope that you ride strong into 2026. Do your own research, read books - all the books - any book you can get your hand on- and try not to lead with fear or follow those that do.
