  • ACR's KX TAKEOVER Hour
    Nov 21 2025

Once a year, our non-profit, community supported, mother station hosts a fundraiser to stay operational. Awakening Code Radio returns for another high-vibe KX TAKEOVER hour to rally support for KX FM! We're always happy to help, and this year we've had so many wonderful people make a donation. Rather than hand the reins to someone else to "take over" our show, we use this opportunity to invite members of our listener family to call in and chat, whether they make a donation or not. It's always great to hear from friends...all of you are why we do this show! Long-time friends of the show called in with love, memories, and their 'radio story', including Milica, Gary C., Molly, Joanne, Gary G., and Mavani. Join the fun, feel the community spirit, and help keep KX FM thriving!

If you feel inspired to make a tax-deductible donation for our Awakening Code Radio Team on the Takeover challenge (before Thanksgiving of 2025), you can do it at kxfmradio.org/takeover. We also welcome donations and memberships all year round and look forward to the fun things in store for our “members” once we are in our new Laguna Beach location in 2026.

From local programming and community events to essential emergency broadcasting and preparedness, independent radio matters. THANK YOU FOR RAISING THE VIBRATION!
