Young Deck Officer Arthur Hawkins (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) leaves his pregnant wife Maud (Nathalie Emmanuel) to join the San Demetrio. Shipping Manager Robert Dodds (Brian Cox) promises to keep an eye on Maud.
