This week Amy is Tapping In Morag Crichton. Morag is one of the contestants from Married At First Sight, the UK-based version of the TV reality show which - as the title suggests - sees for all single men and women marrying a complete stranger. Morag Crichton joined MAFS in the 2021 season, joining the show to find the perfect match, although that’s not exactly how things panned out!

By profession, Morag is a veterinary nurse who has moved from Essex to Australia and back in pursuit of her career - so TV personality is a new addition to the CV. In the show she was depicted as a fiery soul, but as shares on the podcast a LOT of what really went on was cut out from the show and ended up never being aired. Her appearance on the programme has been met with a mixed reaction and there has been some seriously cruel backlash from certain followers of the series, who have taken trolling to a new level. You can hear about the effect that has had on the podcast as Amy and Morag dive into the subject of online hate.

This week Amy is Tapping In with Ashley Tebi, R&B singer, rapper, songwriter and poet who makes up one fourth of the hip hop and grime band Rak-Su. In 2017 the group soared to fame after winning the fourteenth season of The X Factor with Simon Cowell as their mentor. 

Rak-Su then went on to make history by winning X-Factor with their very own song – the first act ever to do so. Their track ‘Dimelo’ released in 2018 featured Naughty Boy and Wyclef Jean, and was a contagious Latin-pop scorcher that shot to No.2 in the singles chart.
