About this listen

Tapping In With… is the weekly podcast where Gogglebox’s Amy Tapper invites one of her celebrity friends along for a chat and she’ll be diving in deep to find out the real story of who they are and what makes them tick, revealing the true them rather than the fraction of the real person that you normally see on your TV screens or via social media.

This week Amy is Tapping In With.... Antony Costa.

Antony is best known as one of the founding members of early noughties boyband Blue who had huge success with mega-popular singles and albums, even winning a number of Brit Awards. In this episode Antony shares how the band came together, what it was like touring around the world and what it was like to collaborate with the likes of Elton John. There is also a hilarious story about the time that Ant dropped a clanger with Stevie Wonder and how the musical legend responded. As well as band chat, this episode also includes a real insight into what family life is now like for Antony and how he’s transitioned from pop music into musical theatre and acting.

In this show you will hear:

How Antony got into performing

How Blue became a band

What it was like to work with the likes of Stevie Wonder and Elton John
