In this episode, I had the pleasure of sitting in conversation with a truly courageous soul who overcame years of hardship, struggle & abuse in childhood and how she was able to pause and recover from the debilitating symptoms of complex ptsd.

Dr. Jeanne was diagnosed with Panic Disorder in 2015 which forced her to reconsider her life path and views on mental illness. Facing a health and soul crisis, she had to make difficult choices. The human rights career she built with a single-minded focus no longer inspired her, and the symptoms of her diagnosis were wreaking havoc on her life. In this latest adult child podcast, I interviewed Damla Atkien, a kindred spirit and inner child trauma informed energy healer.

In my latest episode, I sat down with an amazingly gifted author & magical manifestor who shared her personal journey of how she was able to move beyond surviving in a dysfunctional home as a parentified child and develop new tools to thrive & grow into becoming her own loving parent.

Susan was raised in a challenging and chaotic family system, the middle child of five & wound up marrying her greatest guru also known as her ex-husband who inadvertently taught her to step into her power after eons of hiding behind it & losing her true identity in the process.

To fully thrive, she bravely chose to meet the demons of her upbringing & help others heal from challenges she had overcome.
