This isn’t just another podcast — this is a café for the entire hospitality community, brewed strong and steeped in real stories. Hosted by Bossy and Chauncy, two bold and unfiltered women who have lived every corner of the industry, ALL DAY cafe is where we spill the beans and serve the hospitali-TEA one episode at a time.

In our very first pour, The Grand Opening, we introduce ourselves (just enough to keep a little mystery — we’ve got plenty more to spill later) and share how this podcast was born out of years in the grind. We’ve cried in walk-in coolers, survived bottomless brunch shifts, dodged more Karens than we can count, and poured martinis like shift medicine. After a thousand “we should start a podcast” moments between coffees and chaos, we finally clocked in and made it happen.

This episode sets the table:

• Who we are: Two hospitality lifers who’ve done it all — front of house, back of house, brunches, banquets, late-night bar shifts, catering, cafés, hotels, and everything in between. We’ll give you just a sip of our backstories (because nobody wants all the tea at once).
• Why we’re here: To create a space where the industry can laugh at itself, scream into the void together, and feel seen in all the chaos that guests never understand. Think of us as your shift break — a place where the printer isn’t jamming and the martinis are always flowing.
• What’s next: A teaser of the kinds of stories we’ll be serving up this season: ticket nightmares, Karen encounters, manager meltdowns, walk-in confessions, shift drinks gone wrong, and those moments that make you wonder why we keep coming back (and then remember it’s for the people, the stories, and the tips — hopefully).

We’re not here to sugarcoat the job — hospitality is messy, raw, and sometimes ridiculous. But it’s also full of connection, community, and stories worth spilling. Whether you’re a barista, bartender, server, chef, dishwasher, event coordinator, or manager just trying not to scream into the fryer, you belong here at ALL DAY cafe.
