KDB returns to fight the good fight for the highest-scoring video games from 1996 as we get drafting once again.

It's an absolutely stellar year, but the threat of steals and kills of draft picks hangs heavy over our intrepid drafters. Will David's lead at the top of the league become insurmountable or will KDB finally get another win?

As a bonus, there's also the 2026 draft, where we each pick five upcoming games (one can be dropped at any time before release) to see who'll have a bonus league point by the end of the year.

Six more games on the Nintendo Switch Online service - three from the SNES and three from the Mega Drive - were randomly drawn back in episode 118, and now they've come to collect.

We played through Gunstar Heroes, MUSHA and Virtua Fighter 2 on the Mega Drive/Genesis, and Operation Logic Bomb, Spanky's Quest and Star Fox 2 on the SNES. Now we're here to discuss them and stick them in our tier list.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Our treat to you this year is the start of a new to-be-annual tradition where we've created an awards show with a twist.

There are nine categories, from best game and best visuals to most disappointing and worst ageing, that must be filled by games from 1995, 2005 and 2015 - 30, 20 and 10 years ago respectively. There's a bonus spot for a 1985 game if we deem it worthy.

The only other rule is that there can be no more than three games for each of the three years, as much as 2005 could fill way more than that!

Join us in celebrating these anniversary games, and we'll see you (hopefully) before the end of the year with the 'forgotten episode' of our Top 10 PS2 Games that Alex completely forgot to edit! Sorry!

It's the final draft of 2025, so we decided to introduce some new rules - each player gets one kill and one steal each. Any game can be stolen, and any game can be killed (stolen ones are subsequently untouchable).

How will these new rules affect the game? Will David finally lose? Will KDB finally win? The result is a good podcast, whatever happens!

This week marks the 25th anniversary of the PlayStation 2's European launch. To celebrate, we played every (except that really long JRPG for obvious reasons) launch game and we're going to rank them in a tier list with D being absolute stinkers, and S being the cream of the crop.

The games are:

Aqua Aqua, Dynasty Warriors 2, Fantavision, FIFA 2001, Gradius III and IV, International Superstar Soccer, NHL 2001, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2, Ridge Racer V, Silent Scope, Smuggler's Run, SSX, Tekken Tag Tournament, TimeSplitters, and Wild Wild Racing.

Something for everyone, you surely agree! Are any of them good, though? We all know Wild Wil Racing is the drizzling shits, but can any game grab the sacred S tier?

We're going way further back in time for this draft as part of a new yearly bonus episode where we draft from 30 years ago. 1995 is first (1996 next year, obvs) and, by god, getting reliable scores for these games is a reet ballache.
