Her role spans managing gamedays for field hockey, women’s basketball, and softball, assisting with football stadium operations, and overseeing daily operations of multiple athletic facilities and postseason championships. Her journey began on the softball diamond at Le Moyne College, where she played four years before earning a master’s in Sport Venue & Event Management from Syracuse University. Since then, she’s managed ACC and NCAA championships, contributed to major tournaments, and continues to shape the future of athletic facilities and events. Originally from Syracuse, now making an impact in Louisville, she’s a proud mom, a dedicated professional, and a true game-changer.

    Her journey began as a student employee at Slippery Rock University, and she’s since held positions at Bowling Green State University, Central Michigan University, and Syracuse University.

    She has spent her career helping students grow, build confidence, and find community through sport, wellness, and recreation. With over 10 years in collegiate recreation, she serves as the Associate Director of Facilities and Operations at the University of Pittsburgh, helping lead Campus Recreation across five recreation spaces that serve more than 30,000 students and members.

    At Pitt, she played a key role in bringing the university’s nine-story, 270,000-square-foot Recreation and Wellness Center to life — guiding operational design, facility functionality, and organizational development for one of higher education’s most innovative recreation projects.

    For her, sports and recreation aren’t just about competition or fitness — they’re about connection, growth, and creating spaces where people truly belong. Along the way, she has mentored hundreds of student employees, managed large operational teams, and developed innovative staff programs focused on leadership, teamwork, and career readiness.

    Todays Guest: Bucknell Associate Athletic Director for Compliance & Student Services


    Before he ever stepped into the world of NCAA compliance, he was a dedicated student-athlete at Hartwick College, where he played men’s lacrosse and finished his career with several school records in points and assists.


    He went on to earn his law degree, beginning his professional life in the legal field with roles at firms in New York, Illinois, and Massachusetts. After seven years in law, he returned to collegiate athletics, joining Syracuse University’s compliance office.


    There, he steadily advanced from compliance assistant to coordinator and then assistant director, overseeing recruiting monitoring, submitting waivers and violation reports, leading rules-education efforts, and managing Syracuse’s intern and extern programs.


    In 2013, he took the next step in his career by joining Bucknell as associate athletic director for NCAA compliance and student services. Today, he oversees compliance operations, eligibility and financial-aid certification, rules education, student-services initiatives, and serves as the sport administrator for tennis and volleyball.

    It started on the softball fields of Ithaca College, where a passion for storytelling led to a documentary degree and an award-winning thesis film.

    A master’s from Syracuse University followed, expanding her vision and sharpening her craft.

    From there, she transformed the creative presence of programs at Colgate and Yale—launching new brands, reshaping digital strategy, and leading content that elevated their national profiles. Her work with the NCAA brought her to championship stages, from the Women’s College World Series to the Volleyball National Championship, helping introduce the heartfelt “Letter To:” series that gave athletes a voice beyond the game. Her journey then took her to the pros—first creating powerful visuals for the Buffalo Bills, Sabres, and Bandits, and now shaping the cinematic identity of one of the NFL’s most passionate fan bases. Her lens has brought life to Emmy Award–winning productions, capturing the traditions, stories, and spirit that define Buffalo.

    She built a tennis career that spans continents, competition levels, and coaching roles—grounded in player development and driven by purpose.

    She began her journey as a standout collegiate athlete, competing for Amherst College, where she helped lead her team to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a national title match in 2014. Her efforts earned her All-NESCAC singles honors and Team MVP recognition before graduating in 2016 with a degree in environmental studies.

    She then took her game to the South American professional tour, training with the Peruvian Fed Cup Team, while also launching her coaching career—working with junior players and gaining early experience in international recruiting.

    Her passion for development took her to Carrollwood Country Club, Hillsborough Community College, and Camp Playland, where she coached athletes as young as three and mentored aspiring collegiate players.

    Most recently, she spent two seasons as the top assistant at Syracuse University in the ACC. There, she helped the program to 21 team wins, a top-10 upset, and a national peak ranking of #32. Her recruits earned conference and academic honors, while her influence extended deeply into international recruiting and team culture.

    And now, in August of 2025, she steps into her biggest role yet, as the new Head Coach of George Washington University Women’s Tennis.

    Todays Guest: Yale University Head Heavyweight Crew Coach- Mike Gennaro

    He grew up in Pennsylvania and started rowing at St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia, earning a spot on the U.S. Junior National Team in 2007. At Syracuse University, he captained the team and helped lead them to their first IRA grand final in 20 years, all while medaling internationally with the U.S. Under-23 Team, including a world-record gold in 2011.

    He went on to win gold at the Pan American Games, served as an Olympic alternate in 2012, and medaled at multiple World Cups and World Championships through 2015.

    In 2016, he shifted to coaching, joining Yale a top collegiate program where he helped lead three straight national championships. After a promotion and a post-pandemic return to winning form, he became head coach in 2023. A year later, he was inducted into the Syracuse Rowing Hall of Fame.

    Today, he leads one of the most dominant programs in collegiate rowing.

    He’s a national champion, world medalist, and Heavyweight Crew Coach.
