構成作家の一平は、お笑いの道に憧れ、夢が叶った半ば、殺伐とした社会と報われない日々に疲弊していた。そんなある日、自ら氏を選ぼうとしたタイミングで一平の前に幽霊が現れ、「娘に付き纏っている男を殺してくれないか？」という依頼をされてしまう。男を殺すまで取り憑くという幽霊の脅迫に、一平が取った選択とは？そして死に損なった男が辿る数奇な運命とは。。。
田中征爾監督と、「キングオブコント」2021で優勝した空気階段の水川かたまりさんがタッグを組んだことでも話題のこの作品を、田中監督が数々の映画賞を受賞した２０１９年の映画「メランコリック」 と比較しながら、解説していきます。
