I shouldn’t be surprised now that any book in the series would be so enjoyable. I just assumed that a bunch of dead people would be uninteresting. I was wrong!! I could easily read a spin off series with Hail and Marissa. Loved all of the characters in this book.

I read Beyond the Veil in tandem with Sorrow and Starlight and I think that is definitely the way to go. Yes, there are times where it can feel a little repetitive because both books are taking place along the same timeline, but I really enjoyed it overall and felt . It's not strictly necessary to read this book, but I think it adds so much more value and understanding into how some things in Sorrow and Starlight actually happened. I also just loved meeting Tory and Darcy's parents and learning more about them.

loving the story but ch11 is supposed to be hail so I've missed some storyline

I enjoy this unique version of these guys writing. They also didn’t over recap all the moments of book 8 and had some great new sneaky content, like who did end up in the tigers eye stone. The best!! The narrators sounded the same as the other books so no traumatic adjustments in voices to get used to.

Just finished the whole series. Must say it’s up there with the wheel of time by Robert Gordon and I never thought I would ever say that. Well done what an achievement.

The story just dragged on and on. It could have been finished in 4 books not 8.5. I kept losing concentration. Not for me.
