El yuigon es el último poema que se escribe antes de proceder a la ceremonia de autoinmolación japonesa, llamada seppuku o harakiri. Es una reflexión íntima y expone la última voluntad de quien lo escribe. Este poemario pretende reflejar una última voluntad con respecto al final de una relación amorosa, el daño sufrido y la responsabilidad de poner punto final. Está organizado en tres partes que crean paralelismo simbólico entre la relación vivida y las etapas del ritual nipón [seiza, tantō y kaishaku]. Se revela la razón de ser de la vivencia amorosa.
