Excellent! Spot on for Romance!
Cried, laughed and kept saying to myself "now this is a romance".
Narrator was so good I kept forgetting it wasn't a movie I was watching in my head.

Love love loved this book. Poppy and Alex's story is funny, heartbreaking and heart-warming all at once.

Exactly What You Think It Is 👏
Friends to lovers isn't exactly my favourite trope, but this was easy enough to digest. towards the end, everything dragged on a bit.

disappointment
after reading funny story thought this maybe ok wrong story predictable from the beginning hate books that jump back and forward and best friends to lovers to deciding that was wrong to ending up together has been done by many a famous author before

Good read
I would've loved this book more, if I hadn't already read some of the books narrated by Julia Whalen, and I found her voices were the same as the voices that I have just been listening to, and I couldn't disconnect from the last book, like I wanted to, because the male voice sounded the same, and I couldn't get the previous character in the previous book out of my head
Been saying this, I loved the story. I loved the characters I just should've given it a break in between books by the same author and narrator.
It is worth the read, I really enjoyed it

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have absolutely loved listening to this book on audible. It's now highly up there with my favourite reads. I know it's not really something I technically read but it's definitely something I'll keep close to my heart.
I can't wait to read more of Emily Henry's books, because I just devoured this.
I can't stop thinking about Alex & Poppy, and I will forever now. It's such a sweet and lighthearted, cosy and cute read. I found the characters so loveable and the layout of the whole story so interesting.
Poppy & Alex have spent every summer vacation together since they met, until they stopped two years ago. The book goes back and forth to the past and present explaining each trip, and what had happened 2 years prior.
It just felt all so realistic, the choices and discussion they were having together felt so real.
I really loved the way this book was laid out and couldn't get enough of it. Every thing was just *chefs kiss*, I hope all my reads this year are going to be as positive as this book. Also the impact it's left on me, I just wanna go on a holiday now.
