the main character drove me nuts when I first started listening to this story honestly but as the story unfold I started liking her at the end

i kept reading, even though the end was entirely predictable. But seriously, the heroine was so annoying and the plot lacked credibility.

Take my review with a grain of salt as I didn’t finish. I found the protagonists inner monologue a bit tiring as she comes across to me as a caricature of the selfless doctor with a heart of gold and yet has little emotional maturity in her personal life. I guess it’s not really my thing. I’m sure the romantic storyline picks up and becomes more intriguing but be prepared to wait a while.

Enjoyed this romance between doctors caught up in matters of the heart vs ethics. Well written and narrated, i appreciated getting this as a bookclub discount. I usually avoid the romance genre but here, i was pleasantly surprised.
