Genuinely, the worst written book I’ve ever read. There were so many subplots that had nothing to do with the actual story. The MAIN character was kidnapped three years ago, and that was just something that was simply mentioned but it literally had nothing to do with the story! If her character hadn’t of been kidnapped, she still would have behaved exactly the same. She’s the main character and that was something that was just brushed over. Really silly. Why put it on the blurb and the prologue if it had such a little bearing on the story?? And the way they were chasing different leads when they were looking for Zoe. Omg some made no difference to the story whatsoever. I understand chasing different leads so the characters aren’t on the right path all the time, but usually they have some bearing on the story. I felt like I wasted so much time. Also the bear versus man reference was cringe. Also, why on earth would Zoe have run away if she knew that guy was after her. She should’ve gone to the cops? I doubt she was more scared about the cops than she was of that psycho. Also, the last part absolutely dragged on once they had their final confrontation. And how boring and generic that the weather played suchhhh a big part in that. Anyway really bad all round.
