A massive fan anyway, I read the book when it first came out but the audiobook read by Amy was just like listening to stories on a podcast.

Took her out for a walk over numerous days and loved being reminded of some of her funny stuff over the years. Also loved the guest appearances!

If you love Amy, you will likely love this!

While I was slow to warm to Yes Please having just read Tina Fey’s Bossypants, Amy wins you over not long into her journey. She’s real, self deprecating and of course funny AF. There is no reason to compare the two women - they are both standalone comedic queens. And wonderful humans who allow us a blissful escape from our duty-bound lives by providing us a glimpse into theirs. This strangely turned into a review for both books.

Amy Poehler is hilarious, but that’s not the only reason this is one of the best memoirs I’ve listened to. I loved the different take Amy took to present her audiobook - bringing in others to contribute - this whole audiobook was so engaging and entertaining. Just loved it! Will listen to again down the track for sure

I really enjoy Amy's comedy but this book was not quite what I was expecting. It's also written all over the shop, back and forth switching stories, going on tangents. If you like Amy then this is still probably worth a listen.
