A really enjoyable modern romance between bad boy tattooist and sweet, talented, mixed up girl next door type. Elle has been left vulnerable by a bad boy ex boyfriend who was her first sexual encounter and love. He trashed her self belief and confidence as a woman, believing she is sexually vanilla and so undesirable. Elle just needs to meet the right guy.

From the cover image, I expected this book to be a little unrefined. I found the pretext for the the story to be enjoyable novel and there was some depth and growth for the main characters. More than just a pleasant escape.

DNF. Made it half way but couldn't stand either cringey MC. Both highly unlikable and immature. 'Wear her down' plot line is very 90s. The premise was fine.
