I like this slow burn story. Calvin annoyed me at times though I guess it had to do with his family history.. It was an all round good read and Amelie did a wonderful job.

Loads of feels, such a good story by P Dangelico, a first listen for me by this author. Also a first listen of a single narrator, even though 2 were listed as it was only the epilogue that was spoken by Nelson Hobbs. Amelie Griffin, whose voice I love, did an awesome job bringing this story to life and has now made me think about checking out books with just 1 narrator. Thank you both 👏👏👏

Although there was an excellent storyline, there were too many internal monologues. The ending was nice, featuring a small twist. I probably won't listen again, but it was still good.

This book completely exceeded my expectations! I was in a bit of a reading slump, but Wrecking Ball pulled me right out of it. The “hard-to-love” trope was executed brilliantly, keeping me hooked from start to finish.

A quick note for fans of Nelson Hobbs: while he only narrates the epilogue, Amelie Griffin’s performance more than makes up for it—she was absolutely stellar throughout the entire story! I’m going to go hunt for more of her work! Enjoy!

This book was such a heart warming & unexpectedly good listen. There were no moments where I was cringing. I in no way mean that this book was boring. The characters had depth and the narrator was great.

Really enjoyed this one. Well read. Beautifully and realistically written, romantic by with reality. Everytime I thought some typical scene from other romances was going to play out, it didn’t! Kept me interested. Ready for the next :D
