About this listen

Wreak Havoc is the edge-of-your-seat third installment in the Black Rose Kisses series.

Note: The blurb below contains spoilers for the previous books, so I'd highly recommend not listening to it until you've finished listening to Fight Dirty and Play Rough. Cool? Cool.

I thought I knew who my enemies were, and who I could trust.

I was so f--king wrong.

With vengeance burning like fire in my blood, I convinced myself it didn’t matter who I hurt, as long as I made the Black Roses pay for my dad’s death.

But my father is alive.

And now Gavin wants me dead.

Trust is in short supply. A target has been painted on my back. My heart is a tangled mess. But I've never been one to roll over and give up, no matter how bleak things look.

The world has turned upside down, and if I'm going to survive in this dangerous new landscape, I’ll have to fight for it.

Even if I have to wreak havoc.

This is Book Three of four in the Black Rose Kisses series. It's a reverse harem new adult enemies-to-lovers/bully romance that includes high steam, violence, and foul language.

The first quarter of this book is cringe. Mercy rambles a lot in her inner dialogue about feeling guilty for actions she should feel guilty about. But it gets worse when she actually voices her thoughts whilst trying to kind of apologise. For someone who was meant to have grown up in a rough neighbourhood and apparently knew what risks she was taking when she started her whole revenge campaign, she seems awful suprised by where her actions got her.

The rest of this book is actually pretty good though, some nail biting scenes, cute moments with the boys and suspense at the end. Mercy also simmers down her inner voice, which is lovely.

Cassandra narrates Mercy really well and is often a saving grace in this series, without her, I dont think I'd have kept listening.
