Publisher's Summary

Emperor Wray Vasteri was the ruler of the Tornian Empire. His house had ruled the empire ever since the great infection, which struck over 500 years ago, and he feared he would be the last. The number of compatible females was dwindling faster than anyone knew. If they could not find compatible females soon, their entire civilization would cease to exist. It was the reason he agreed to meet with Liron, the emperor of the Kaliszian Empire in Kaliszian space. It was the only reason they had crossed paths with a Ganglian ship leaving Tornian space, and it was the only reason that the small female was discovered. Could she be what they had been searching for?

Wray found himself drawn to the small female he'd found beaten and abused on the Ganglian ship. She resembled a Tornian female but was much smaller. Could she be what he had been searching for?

Kim Teel has had a hard life - at least she thought she had until her parents were suddenly killed, and then her sister and brother-in-law disappeared. At 19 she realized she'd been protected from all of life's hardships. She had been cared for and loved her entire life and had come to expect it. She was terribly spoiled. Determined to change her ways, Kim went looking for her sister, only to be captured by the Ganglians, and it was then she learned what happened to the unprotected females of the universe.

Wray and Kim are both doing the same thing - trying to survive. But what they find is that there are more important things than just survival. And once they learn that, the universe changes forever.

Book 1 not book 2

I really enjoyed this book. I'm glad I read the reviews of the books before I brought as I learnt this is actually book 1 in the series.

The having several narrators was really good. And I highly enjoyed. The sound effects were surprising though didn't put me off the story.

Looking forward to listening Grim and Lisa's story.

Absolutely dreadful

I gave up in disgust shortly after they crashed. So, she was a virgin, had been brutally and repeatedly raped by aliens, but was flirting with Wray within 24 hours, wanting to get it on with him and experiencing emotional trauma?

Also, I hated the main narrator. Could he possibly sound more bored?

I will definitely ask for a refund for this trash.

absolutely love the way MK Eidem has her books narrated. The multi voices just seem to make that much better.

Goddess what a wonderful narration.

I found the several different narrators in this book to add to the telling of the story. I also found the sound effects to add to my enjoyment of the retelling. thumbs up for a truely wonderful audio experience.

***Great book***

My first alien abduction story and i am not disappointed, what disappoint me is the fact that my first review on this book is lost. I love Michelle's books they are entertaining and full of love and feelings. She tackles stories about abuse and sexual assault, also racism and stereo types. Kudos to u Michelle and thank for a fantastic story. The narrative is beyond brilliant, its amazing and unique. Thank u all.
