Miriam is a young Dutch woman living in the heart of the mountains with her New Zealand husband. This book put the places into my mind as I was listening. Easier being from NZ where it's set, but I could totally relate to the brutal cold and the experiences without actually doing them myself.
They're so much heartier than I would ever be, but I really enjoyed the story and telling of the challenges.
