Publisher's Summary

Summer camp is a traditional teenage rite of passage, but when you add supernatural powers to the typically high dosage of adolescent hormones - you get an even more combustible mix. Sixteen-year-old werewolf twins Kate and Logan Danvers are none too thrilled at being shipped off to a supernatural youth leadership conference in West Virginia.

From the moment they arrive at the camp, the twins sense something is off, and they react in their usual manner - Logan reserving judgment and surveying the setup while Kate charges forward, determined to get answers. Kate and Logan quickly ascertain that most of the conference attendees have already formed hostile factions, leaving the twins and a few other misfits to band together.

What seems like teen hormones in overdrive becomes something much more dangerous, even deadly. Add in a strange magic-warded cabin in the woods and a local history rife with curses and macabre legends, and it becomes clear this was a really, really bad place to build a camp for teenage supernaturals.

Author's note: This is book 1 in a YA duology. As with all my YA trilogies, this first book ends in a cliff-hanger. Book 2, Wolf's Curse, comes out in March.

Well, Rhat Was abrupt

What just happened? I’ve never read a book with an ending that just cut off like that mid story. It wasn’t even a cliff hanger, it just ENDED.

Full star off for just a total mishandling on that. And another note that the male narrator was pretty bad.

Amazing. But there is a cliffhanger

This was such a good start to this series, but there is a cliffhanger. I cannot wait for the next one to come out I have a feeling it’ll be even better than this one.

Wolf's Bane

The narrators were awful. The girl wasn't as bad as the guy. The story line was good.

Partial book

Cliff hanger and not enough to interest me in purchasing the follow up book. I am a long time fan of Kelly Armstrong but this was not up to her usual excellence.

Diverse and interesting

I love all the folks getting pearshaped over the cliffhanger ending, when it actually says so in the description!

The book is well written with interesting and diverse characters. A YA book that actually works for a non-YA reader.

Male narrator was boring and flat, but the female did a good job!

Story is good. Male voice, meh.

I love the otherworld series’? Especially the werewolf books. Not a fan of the male voice. Hella robotic, but not bad enough to regret listening to the book.

Entertaining story

This is an entertaining story on its own, but I think I enjoyed it even more having read the Otherworld books. The narration was really good.

not an ending in this story.

might as well know ahead of time that you will need the next book - obvious stop of story amid action.

Where is the rest of the story

This is an unfinished story, it just stops and then says “produced by Audible Inc”. Are there chapters missing? The story arch is incomplete and it doesn’t just end on a cliffhanger, it just stops with a really short amount of the story missing. It is really odd and dissatisfying. Hopefully it’s an error with the production and will be rectified.

A good YA adventure

It good to be back in the other world series with the younger generation. A good story that moves fast and ends on a cliffhanger. Looking forward to the next instalment.
