Publisher's Summary

Four renegade wolf shifters. An innocent young woman trapped in a web of lies. When their fates collide, sparks will fly....

Diagnosed with a rare terminal illness, I’ve spent over half my life in the Strand Corporation’s state-of-the-art treatment facility. I keep my chin up and do everything the doctors order, praying one day I’ll walk out of here in perfect health.

But when that day finally arrives, it’s nothing like I hoped it would be. Instead, it comes in a hail of gunfire, along with four distractingly handsome men who say they’re here to rescue me.

On the run with these mysterious men and hunted by the very people I believed were my caretakers, I begin to realize nothing is what I thought it was.

Turns out, I’m not really sick. I’m not completely human either....

Great Reverse Harem And Shifter series

Loved this series so far. Great story, lots of action, twisting plot, interesting characters who unfold throughout the story, slow burn steamy scenes and true Love. The narration was awesome too.

3.5 overall but still recommend

I think this is definitely a YA book...pretty full of hormones and not much character development. I'm a little peeved at how the innocent and sheltered main character is from being raised in a medical compound, yet she's all about dropping the F bomb every minute like one of the guys. It's a little too fast for a character to change... especially since I didn't hear any of that while she was in the compound. I still recommend it though, and I'm going to buy the second one because I have to with this dang cliffhanger. uuugh. edit: audible doesn't have the rest of the series. 😑

Ends with a huge cliffhanger...

so if you are expecting that 'happy ever after' (HEA) the romance genre promises, look elsewhere. Even if a book is part of a series, each book should end with a small HEA. Ending a book in the middle of a scene where everything is going horribly wrong is just bad planning and writing. Could have ended it a couple scenes earlier where everything was hopeful and then used the last scene as opening drama. Which is sad because I thought the book was fairly good. Yes, the main character was a bit whiny and too reflective on the past for my taste, but it was tolerable. I would have given the book at least 4 stars. However, dropping it down to one star shows how disappointed the ending left me.

An Interesting Listen

This was an interesting listen. The storyline is well done and the characters are nicely developed. There's action, adventure, romance and shifting. The only problem I have is that this book ends on a major cliffhanger. As another reviewer pointed out, the author could have let the book end a bit earlier and then started the next book with the drama, that would have been much better. With that said, the story is good and worth your time. However, if you don't care for cliffhangers then you should wait until the next book is out before listening to this one. The narration by Laurel Schroeder is nicely done. She does give each character their own voice and emotions but i would have liked a bit more difference in the male voices. Also she seems to have a "crisp" edge to her voice from beginning to end and I think if she just relaxed a bit more while reading then it would have been better. Overall, I did enjoy listening to this book and I look forward to the next installment. I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Great book!

I really enjoyed this book. It had an interesting twist on Shifters, as in they were created in a lab. The story line was interesting and I liked the characters. I have always liked this narrator, Laurel does a great job of bringing characters to life.

great

I'm the beginning this grabbed me right away, like why is Alexa locked away, what about her mom? all kinds of questions, but then I felt like it just dragged along, not a lot of action or anything going on there for a bit, bit then it picks right up and what an ending, can't wait to read the next

OMG so good

This is my first Sadie Moss book. All her series have been on my wish list for a very long time and I’m so glad to have given one a go. This is a slow burn book 1 RH series. There is potential for the steam to rise but like a lot of book 1 in a series it takes a little bit for the group to mesh and the steam to pick up. This series to me has a black dagger brotherhood feel to it but instead of vampires it’s wolf shifters. The writing is that good and you really get invested into this story and characters. My only fear is the entire series not releasing on audible. I so hope it does!

it seems like a decent start, looking forward to seeing what happens next. The thing I caught was that chapter 16 repeats.

Action Packed

The beginning started off nice and calm, and then chaos. There was so much action, everything on the edge of your seat including the end. This is a slow burn because even though there's four guys she doesn't go all the way with any..yet. The narrator did a fantastic job giving unique voices to everyone. Now I have to rush to find book 2! #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Great beginning, perfect narration

Another great book by Sadie Moss, I am becoming addicted to her books, I love PNR AND she really knows how to write a great story. The book is well written, and kept my interest throughout it. It was pretty interesting seeing the journey Alexis has to go though, from being "sick" in a hospital her whole life, to be on the run and learning she might be a wolf shifter. I liked all the guys and their interactions with Alexis, can't wait to know more about them and see how their relationship develops.. And... That cliffhanger... GOSH! I need the second book now! The narration was perfect, Laurel Schroeder performance was really good, she had a great voice for each character and you can easily distinguish who's talking.

Full of Furry Romance & Suspense!

OMG I've just started a new addiction, the new Wolf Hunted series looks like its going to be just as amazing as all the others by Sadie Moss! I love the heroine, Alexis, she's vulnerable & lost in the big, wide world outside the Strand complex. Luckily her rescuers, three wolves her like her instantly, and one grumpy wolf who is trying not to like her, are guiding her through her new reality. I was so upset at Reece's behaviour towards her, and loved the way the others looked out for her. The book ends on a gut wrenching cliff hanger, and now I'm desperate for book 2!

Cliffhanger

I love this book. I love the characters. I love the story line, it had me captivated from the very beginning, I couldn’t stop listening. I enjoyed listening to her figuring out the how’s, what’s, and who’s of her life. The narration was great. I recommend this book, however there is a big fat cliffhanger at the end of this book. 🎧Audiobook Obsession

Unique Shifters

This was a great start to The Last Shifter series! Alexis has spent her whole life in hospitals and facilities. When she was a child, she was diagnosed with a rare terminal illness. Nothing ever seemed out of place and she was always so grateful for the staff that took care of her until things went awry. She manages to escape with her life and four strange men- nothing else. Now she’s on the run, discovering the truth and it hurts. I really enjoyed her four men, Jackson, Noah, Rhys, and West. I love how we get to learn about their past and the chemistry they all have with her. I think Noah was my favorite with his adorable and protective personality, but I also really loved the rest of the guys too- they’re each unique. Slow burn worked really well with this story and made it more believable, especially since she’s been locked away her entire life. This book isn’t your normal shifter book and I truly appreciated the originality of it. I feel like Sadie did an amazing job mixing science, romance, and the paranormal world and I can’t wait to see where it goes! Laurel did another fantastic job with this narration! I always get excited when I see that she narrators a book that I’m about to listen to. I love how she can bring each character to life and enhance the story with her tone and passion. @AudiobookObsession *I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Shifters

These are man made shifters through experimental harsh treatments. The story will tug at your heart, and the naivety of the heroine will have you smiling. The ending will have you on the edge of your seat and wanting to pick book two immediately! Laurel did an outstanding job with the emotions this character portrayed. 🎧AudiobookObessionReviewer
