Banter, spice, spells and hilarious inner dialogue
Witches, Werewolves, Vampires, Grims, comic books and Star Wars. It’s all in this book. The exchanges between Mateo and Alpha are hilarious from the start and give ‘Venom’ vibes (which I loved) and had me laughing out loud at times. I loved the premise of the story and the way it was light and dark where it needed to be. The sexual tension between the MFC and MMC built perfectly and there was just a good amount of spice. Aiden Snow and Johanna Fairview did a brilliant job in portraying the story, bringing it to life in my mind. After listening to some high fantasy/romantasy, I was looking for something light and this book was the best suprise!! I will definitely preview other books in the ‘Stay a Spell’ series.

Very good
Alpha was hysterically inappropriate, especially at the start (less funny when expected, by the end). I guessed the Why of the mystery early on, but not the Who. Cute romance, no angst.
This is a light read, but very well done.

It’s a cute palette cleanser
I really enjoyed this book, I was a cute love story with some funny one liners throughout.
It has a little spice nothing too crazy, I will probably listen to the rest of the books over time when I need a break from all the spicy books I read.

Brilliant!!
I enjoyed this book so much. The conversations between Mateo and Alpha were at times hilarious and better to be heard than read by myself in the book. Aidan does a brilliant job with the two halves of Mateo. Again Johanna is awesome as Evie, though there are many other characters, you never get confused about who is talking. I could listen to Johanna narrate all day!

Original storyline
Great story, plot just a little bit too easy and predictable. But a fun read anyway. Will definitely read the next in the series.

rereading / listening to the entire series again for Jules and Ruben + Clara and Henry 💗 (because I completely forgot to review them lol whoops!) 💗
