I enjoyed the story, but the character voices other than the main voice, and the narrator drove me crazy. They sounded like cartoon characters.

Really good suspense mystery with romance but it was challenging to get through some parts with this voice actor unfortunately. His normal voice for the main character is great but the voices he put on for the grandparents, kids, females,
Pastor, towns people - I found incredibly difficult to get through. When I heard the preview for the next books and his voices, I won’t continue the series. But this story was a sweet one. I’d like to read or hear this series with a different actor portraying the voices.
