Publisher's Summary

USA Today best-selling author Sheila Roberts takes listeners on a wintry trip to the harbor in her latest holiday novel....

The town of Moonlight Harbor needs to convince tourists that the beach is still the place to be - even when the sunshine goes south for the winter. Jenna Jones, new proprietor of The Driftwood Inn, has the perfect idea: a holiday festival called Seaside with Santa.

Jenna is happy to throw herself into planning the event. With all the decorating, preparation and extra reservations at the inn because of the festival - and with two wonderful but very different men hoping to claim more of her time and her heart - Jenna is busy. Busy, but happy. Even with her troublesome ex in the picture, life feels as close to perfect as she's ever known.

Until the weather turns her festival into a farce. Suddenly Mother Nature is not only raining on Jenna's parade, the old bat's trying to blow the floats and their princesses out to sea. Soon everyone is without power and the road out of town is blocked. And Jenna has a full motel.

After the generator conks out, she's not so sure she and her guests will make it through to the New Year in one piece. But with a little pulling together and a lot of holiday spirit, everyone might find that life - and Christmas - is always good at the beach.

Uplifting Winter Story, renews faith in mankind.

I enjoyed reading this book and found it to be a heartwarming winter read, especially uplifting the way everyone pulled together to weather life's storms and emerge stronger and closer on the other side. The story was so interesting and the characters colorful and believable. Of course I enjoy Sheila Roberts's work.

ANOTHER SUCCESS STORY!!!

What a feel good story! I'm already dreading the last book in the series. The more I listen, the more I feel part of this community. Sheila Roberts/Ann Marie Gideon make a dynamite duo!! I love Sheila Roberts' story telling for the reasons I gave in my review of the first novel in this series! You can't go wrong when characters are developed to the extent that this author does. I'm also loving the suspense on who Jenna will wind up with in her life and how it comes about. Once again, the recipes offered are a plus! Don't miss this series!

Had to stop listening...

I had enough of the negativity, it was too much: the grumpy owner of beach babes, who gives a problem to every idea for the town; the ex husband getting away woth everything; Pete the mooch, always around. Not nearly enough good to out weigh the bad. I finally got so tired of all the negativity that I stop listing a couple chapters in. The first book was good and I was so intrigued about the story that I really wanted to see it play out but it's just not worth it. it might be better as a book to read instead of listen to, so you don't have to hear the annoying characters and you can just focus on the good ones

Great easy read.

It is easy to visualize the inn, beach, town and even the people. The reason I gave it two."Fours" instead of all "fives" is the ending. It seems as if the author ran out of steam. Ends fairly abruptly. But the character development s good and I enjoyed the way the author slowly revealed traits and changes in response to the story line. Recipes at the end are a nice touch! Someone needs to check the oatmeal cookie recipe since the oil is never used the way it is read now. Looking forward to reading the next book and following the lives of these interesting people.
