maybe it's just me but a brand new phone, and freshly downloaded book. it appears to skip a whole section of chapter one. I've had this happen with another book long ago, both times I've had the hard copy but it's very annoying. also annoying there isn't a report a book bug or something so it can be fixed.
as I listen more it seems to be every chapter is cut short by a few pages.

Have read this book previously and was excited to listen on audible. Unfortunately the chapters jump and cut every chapter, meaning chapters are very short and it is impossible to follow the story. The main part of the story is completely lost in one of the cuts 🤦🏻‍♀️ WOULD NOT RECOMMEND , GET THE REAL BOOK!
