Story
Our unconscious thought patterns determine our relationships, our spiritual life, and our connection to God to a much greater extent than we know. That’s an alarming thought, because the subconscious mind is a mysterious realm that is really difficult to access and influence...right? No. It’s really not! And it’s the most urgent and impactful thing we can do. This book will show you how.

In the wideopen landscape of Pennsylvania, Charlotte Martin and her father live a peaceful life on their farm... or so it seems. Charity may have mad math skills and a near-perfect memory, but with a mouth that can’t speak and a body that jumps, rocks, and howls unpredictably, most people incorrectly assume she cannot learn. Charity’s brain works differently from most people’s because of her autism, but she’s still funny, determined, and kind. So why do people treat her like a disease or ignore her like she’s invisible?

Story
Have you ever noticed in the scriptures men are always going up into the mountains to commune with God? Yet in the scriptures, we hardly ever hear of women going to the mountains, and we know why, right? Because the women were too busy keeping life going; they couldn't abandon babies, meals, homes, fires, gardens, and several responsibilities to make the climb into the mountains! As modern-day women, we may feel like we are never "free" enough from responsibilities, never quite enough, or holy enough to have the type of communion we want with God.

More than a Body
- By Amazon Customer on 16-09-2021
Publisher's Summary
Life is filled with hard, unexpected, unwanted, and uncharted paths. It's filled with challenges that make us wonder if God is really guiding our lives. Does he still care about us? Is he really good? Is he even there at all?
But what if there's another way to look at it?
In her book Wildly Optimistic, Al Carraway offers new methods and perspectives for life's inevitable challenges. With her trademark honesty, optimism, and love for the Lord, she addresses how to stay close to God, even when he is silent, how to keep going when too much time passes, and how to be hopeful when it's not what we wanted, when things don't work out, and when we want to give up.
Being an optimist doesn't mean being happy all the time or that bad days won't come. It is the knowledge that when hard days do come, they won't last and that better ones are coming. It means being proactive in our moments of crumbling and looking for lessons and opportunities and light.
With new perspectives on scripture stories and personal trials, Al Carraway will help you better understand the Lord and allow him the opportunity to show you how great he really is. Because, even with the hard and the unexpected, with God, we have every reason to be wildly optimistic!

Al is AMAZING!!
This young woman is much smarter than her years. She channels the Holy Spirit through her bright and cheerfully intelligent discourse. She makes the reader feel like they are her confidant and friend. Through this book, the hardest of reader's hearts will soften.
The best book for 2020 I could imagine reading. Thank you, Al.
