Riveting right till the end!!

Like all fans I have been waiting for the next instalment of Alpha and Omega. Patricia did not disappoint and I have to wonder if she will ever run out of awesome unexpected stories. Just hoping the next one isn't far off...

One criticism of the narration is the voice of Bran is not the same as in the Mercy books. Kinda messes with me...

Wild sign

This story grabbed me from the start. Stark and emotional. Congratulations Patty on another winner. Left you wanting more which a great read will do.

Wild Sign

I think this is one of the better instalments of Charles’s and Anna’s storyline, it progresses and blends the overall Mercy Thompson universe without pushing it and the ending to Wild Sign leaves several doors wide open for story and character development, although there is a distinct central theme.
If you’re curious about Leah’s origins, this is for you, and I found it to be very satisfying.
I really enjoy the very natural way Patricia Briggs weaves mythology and legend into her storytelling. Not a stand-alone read but builds on the preceding books in the series. Thank you Patty for continuing the series, already impatient for the next one!

great book

I loved this book, it was a good addition to the series. And the impossible came true - Leah was turned into a sympathetic character!

What I didn't love was Halter Graham's choppy narration. I've listened to his narration before and it was a lot better than this. Were this any other book, I would have given it up within first 2 chapters - his style was that grating to me. I also disliked his Ana voice.
I will try to return this audio book and buy an ebook instead, because I will certainly not be listening to this again.

Love the Briggs-Graham combo!

I have always enjoyed Patricia Briggs' books and enjoy even more Holton Graham bringing them to such clear near IMAX reality (is there an IMAX equivalence to narration?)

Love it! As all Alpha and Omega

Wow! Great to hear more about Lea's story. The narration gives it extra ummph. Anna was really bad ass🙂

Great addition to the series

Although this is another Charles and Anna story, it is Leah and her story which steals the show. Will I ever like her, I'm not sure but a lot more understanding of her. Narration is fairly good excepting for Bran who sounds too gravelly and Irish at times. Although most things are wrapped up at the end there are a few longterm teasers and the one which is bugging me is , who is Sherwood Post? looking forward to the next in the series already.

Wild Sign

This has a very scary start, with a great story that follows and cleans it all up, this series is as brilliantly as the Mercy Thompson series which runs along side it. Read brilliantly again by Holter Graham. Please, please can we also have a Samuel series as we are missing what he is up to.

Great story, awful narrator.

Another amazing story by Briggs, just wish I'd bought the novel rather than the audiobook. The narrator reads in a really disjointed and awkward manner. Bran's Welsh accent is more like Irish, and his switch between character voices is jarring and ruins the flow on multiple occasions. I don't understand why a male narrator was used in the first place.

Not sure

The start was very good
And the end. I think it was the long battle with the monsters that I found tiresome and a repetition of the author’s latest books. The monsters get bigger and bigger and the almost dying only to not dying is getting old. But all the in between when the characters are together and interacting are interesting and entertaining.

It was difficult for me to get used to the voice of Charles and his Woolf. Very very throaty!

Another great Alpha & Omega story

The novel has a good pace, plenty of twists and turns, with tantalising threads to be followed up in the next novel no doubt.

Great story, alright narrator

As usual Patricia Briggs has provided another page-turner. A must read for anyone who enjoys the mercyverse.

Unfortunately the narrative lets it down when it comes to Bran, he sounds Irish/Scottish sometimes not even remotely Welsh, and as a Welsh native myself I find this very disappointing.

Multilayered, a real thrill to read!

Patricia really upped her game with this one! This story is intense and rich. There are many new players and plenty of surprises, right up to the very end you are kept on the edge of your seat.

Personally I'm not a big fan of Bran's mate, but she has a very interesting backstory which this book covers. It depicts in more detail pieces of her personality we have been shown in previous books... that she is indeed tough as nails, ambitious and sometimes not very nice as a person, however her sense of duty and protecting her pack is always number #1 which makes her worthy of respect.

My favourite in the Alpha and Omega series so far, the ending provides a glimpse into the next book, I hope we don't have to wait too long for it!!!
