it's OK but I just don't get the vibe

I'm not sure this narrator is best suited to getting the mood over for stories full of emotions.
There's little happening but emotions in this story, it just didn't grab me like a lot of Radclyffe's other books have.
The narrator is almost trying too hard at times like she's reading to children.
I've given 4 stars but that's stretching it a bit high IMO
