About this listen

 "Eliza, jedem Anfang wohnt ein Zauber inne", hat meine Großmutter mir mal erklärt. Damals habe ich nicht verstanden, was sie damit meinte, und heute war ich immer noch nicht schlauer. Denn jetzt stecke ich mittendrin in einem Anfang - aber von zauberhaft kann keine Rede sein. Ausgerechnet ich soll eine magische Schneekugel für die Elfen zurückholen. Wenn sie wenigsten nett wären - diese Elfen. Aber nein - sie sind eingebildet, arrogant und bockig (einer jedenfalls).

Im Grunde kann das alles nur ein schlechter Scherz sein. Ich bin bestimmt die Letzte, die sich mutig in ein Abenteuer stürzt. Denn die erlebe ich maximal mit einer Tüte Chips und meiner besten Freundin Sky vor dem Fernseher. Wäre ich bloß nicht in den Wald gegangen und durch das blöde Portal gestolpert. Dann wäre die Geschichte, die meine Welt völlig auf den Kopf stellte, vermutlich nie passiert. Aber das ist nicht mehr zu ändern und so leicht lasse ich mich nicht unterkriegen - schon gar nicht von einem Elf.

Wie oft passiert es in einem durchschnittlichen Leben, dass einen Elfen um Hilfe bitten? Eben. Auch Eliza führt ein ziemlich gewöhnliches Leben, als sie eines Tages im Wald durch ein seltsames Tor stolpert. Auf der anderen Seite trifft sie nicht nur ein paar mehr oder weniger sympathische Elfen, sondern soll für sie auch noch eine magische Schneekugel zurückholen. Für Eliza beginnt ein aufregendes Abenteuer und aus dem ängstlichen Mädchen wird langsam eine mutige Frau... Spannender Auftakt der neuen Fantasy-Serie von Erfolgsautorin Marah Woolf.
