The heroine was one to admire and knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to make a stand or in the case of the story leave the Earl as he came to his senses. An original!
The hero had a troublesome childhood which for many crazy reasons lead to him denying his feelings.
A clever and beautiful way to end the story of the hero who realised too late he was in love only too lose her and then had to fight to win her back.
The narrator is one of the better narrators to tell Stacy Reid's stories. I
