This series was exceptional. Fabulous storyline. Outstanding narration. Some definite tear-jerking moments, some literal laugh out loud moments and of course some steamy and angsty moments. I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Jessica Hawkins has fast become a favourite!

I literally have hundreds of books in my library and this I think my be the best of all of them. I don’t have enough words to express how much I love these book. They had everything. Nobody does romance like Jessica Hawkins. God I wish she would write more just like this. I never wanted it to end.

A slow burn that keeps you on your toes. Emotions run high throughout the books and full reaction to the passion between the characters. Great series.

I read this as a trilogy. This was a great read of lies, deception, truths and trust. Loved how patient he was with her as he proved his love and proved to her that she could trust him. Lots of twists and intrigue going on to keep you reading.
Narration was superb.

It took awhile for it to get going, and I’m still not sure that it did for me.
I really liked the story but it lacked anything over a M rating. If you’re wanting a softer sexy story it ticks the box.
There are moments of dangerous thrills of the infamous Cartel Families and then mixed with the push pull of lies deception and even chivalry between the 3 main characters as love blooms and is maybe lost.
All narrators have sold the roles well with excellent performances. I particularly enjoyed the mix of Mexican with the translation, and how it was beautifully handled from the Author through the Narrators.
Great value as a trilogy purchase, I don’t think I would have tried book 2 or 3 without it which would have been a shame as book 3 was the best.
