I saw that this was Cora Rose’ first book and it shows. It reads YA and lacks in detail when creating a scene. Themes could have been explored more throughout the book.
Alexander Cendese is not my favourite narrator - I find him hard to listen to, to the point of distraction sometimes. And even though this is marked as having 2 POV and 2 narrators, there are only a handful of chapters with Liam DiCosimo, which was very disappointing.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved both main characters and the chemistry between them was exquisite. Both narrators were perfect for the characters and brought them to life. I can't wait to read the new book.

My only minor qualm is, and this is most likely a me thing, I didn't get a good picture in my mind of the characters. Again there's a good chance that this is poor comprehension on my part, but usually with books I like as much as this, I'm able to get a good picture in my mind of who these guys are and what they look like. But not so much this time. That was the only teeny tiny drawback. I still wholeheartedly reccomend it and already miss the story.

This was recommended in a fb group and I loved it.
Whit is a damaged soul. He's never had someone so openly love him like Caleb does, not even his parents. So he never expected their relationship to last.
Caleb is a free spirit, willing to try anything that feels good, and Whit feels good. He's willing to wait for Whit to reveal himself only to find that he was never supposed to be Caleb's.
The love these two found, and that bleeds from Calebs family, was beautiful. To watch as Whit came to understand what unconditional meant was heart breaking.
I'm very curious about Sem and Magnus.
