Story of Segan and Josiah

This is a second chance romance, featuring Segan Bradley and Josiah DeMille, and is a standalone book.

Wow, this book! Segan and Josiah really were right person wrong time. Part one goes through their horrible hometown time and part two is where they run in to each other eight years later after they both got out of that small town. Ps, they are 3 years apart, no age gap.

This was a little bit of a slow burn but it didn’t feel like it. The anticipation leading up to them finally being together made it so worth it. Second time around, they both weren’t going to waste this chance. Loved that they finally communicated and were there for each other. Hard fought for HEA but so happy for them.

Omg and the mini cameos of the Copper Lake guys, sigh, I ❤️ the Copper Lake cowboys.

I absolutely loved the narrators for this audiobook too, they did a phenomenal job bringing these characters to life!

Ashley James is one of my fav authors. I have loved all of her books and as of today I have officially read all of her back catalogue, now it’s time to start the rereads.

Great read!

I really enjoyed this. So much depth and unexpected twists throughout when going in blind.
A lot of serious topics were covered in this book and I thought the trauma and reactive feelings were well written and realistic. These two are great characters and get a hard won HEA in the end.
Narration was great!

Hot hot hot.

Ashley James is a favourited Author 👌
The two main characters are so connected in every way. They have both had such hard lives. They just need each other and their subconscious knows this and are waiting for their conscious selves to catch up: seriously hot. LOVE Teddy Hamilton, his co narrator Aaron Sherlock was new to me and in love him.
