About this listen

We all have guilty pleasures.

Mine was the boy my father took in. The guy everyone said I was too good for. The one I knew would ruin me.

The way Noah Greyson's voice sounded when he sang whiskey lullabies to me in the dark; how perfect his arms felt wrapped around my stomach with his nose nuzzled in my hair - that's what made me fall. That intimacy was what made me weak.

But now millions of women drift off to sleep while Noah sings the love story we wrote, and it was never meant for the world.

The worst mistake I made wasn't loving him, it was thinking he loved me, too. At least that's what I thought, until now...

I very much enjoyed this story and the narration was very enjoyable. No annoying voices. I found the book had a little of everything for me and really recommend it to others.

A sweet love story

I enjoyed the story, and the narration was melodic. No annoying voices or whining. I recommend this book to anyone who would enjoy an easy listen, not hard to follow. No real steamy parts, but the characters were original. I too thought the ending was a bit abrupt, but if anything further had of been tacked in - this may have been a bit tiresome.

Didn't realise the majority of the book was set in the past telling the story of how the characters met

Hannah uses Noah. There's no ifs, and, or buts about it. She used him to distract her from her dying mother. Which is understandable, and totally relatable.
But then she acts like he's the one who did her wrong, when she cut him off first.

The scene where Hannah's mom gets Noah to sing to her broke my heart.
Hannah's father was a dick.

Noah did nothing wrong but everyone hated on him. I hate that. Most of the women, including Meg, sounded jealous. I liked the friendship Noah and Beau developed.

The narration was terrible and gave the whole story a bad southern hick vibe. If you want more people to listen to this - get a new narration team. I didn't even finish the book
