Publisher's Summary

I'm Lexie Delaney, and I'm a necromancer. Which means, I can see the dead, talk to them, affect them. Not as fun as it sounds. Especially since the Veil closed and the dead have been stuck here. Things in town are getting tense. School is starting, and I'm already tired of our plan to keep our relationships quiet. Bodies keep showing up and no one has a clue as to why.

Ghosts are still missing and we're still searching the hiking trails for clues. Secrets are coming to light, answers are found. And the guys are snapping at each other. But I can keep everything together. Right?

ahhhhhazing

I literally waited forever for this book to come unto audio because I've been into this series for several years and since I have my daughter it's impossible to read a book without sacrificing the little sleep that I do get but it was totally worth the wait and can't wait for the next one!!;

Wow

It may have spoilers.
The beginning of the book is great.
The start of the school year is bad.
Jadice the guidance counselor is so evil she hurt and kill so much people why doesn’t Lexy kill her. I’m so blood thirsty, sometimes is so frustrating that they have powers and don’t use it, and when they use it is so reckless. Silence is what “(bad)” people thrive on Rory said, but that is what Lexy and her friends do a lot of the time, stay silent and keep secrets. I hope they are more open from now on.
Laura, what is going on with her, why is she so shy what is her secret.
Omg Zeke story is so sad 😢.
Ethan I’m dying to know what he is...
What’s going on with sweet miles, omg Hades that is crazy 😱 the story gets better and better can’t wait for next book. So many secrets came out and so may new ones to discover.

not great

I love this series and even pre-ordered this one. Nothing really happens in this entire book. I'm disappointed to say the least.

Crammed and Rushed

When I first started off on this series, it pulled me right in but as the series went on it kind of fell off. I feel like the poly relationship that Lexi has with the guys is unrealistic. The way the series is going, it looks like the guys is going to have their own unique powers and with that their own unique problems. I feel Lexi won't be able to dedicate her time to help them through it let alone have time to deal with her own problems.
Look at Miles something wrong is clearly going on with him. I would like to know more about Asher and his adjustments. Lord knows what's going on with Ethan. I feel like the author needs to have everybody break up with Lexi one by one so they can have their own book and eventually put Lexi with one person outside of the guys and within those books write more in details about The Veil, The Witches Council, The Gargoyles, The Vampire, The Ghosts, Tara, Jessica, all of the parents, school, and everything else the author tried to cram in one book. I feel like this series could have been the next twilight movie or TV series but the direction of the books took a left turn.
