Publisher's Summary

Detective Hannah Shor gets a case in the worst way possible - a friend calls her for help. Her 12-year-old daughter has been kidnapped, and Hannah joins forces with the FBI to bring her home safely.

When the kidnappers post an image of their captive on Instagram, the situation spins out of control. Now, the whole world is watching. Rumors spread like wildfire, and online vigilantes add fuel to the raging flames. As Hannah digs deeper, she unravels dark secrets from the family's past. Great Read!

This was a terrific book. The characters were interesting and the plot most exciting. I think the narrator did an excellent job.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SERIES!

This is the third book in the Glenmore Park series and in my opinion it is the best and most suspenseful. I don't know how this author got past me or why his books have so few ratings. If you are in any doubts it's not like Audible doesn't guarantee that you'll be happy with your purchase. Also if you have kindle unlimited the book will cost you $2.99!
In this book there is so much going on it's hard to put down, I kept wanting to know what happens next. There is the kidnapping of a child, adultery, betrayal of trust, jealousy, murders and much more all wrapped up in a really good police procedural.
This author's writing style reminds me a little of James Hayman, so anyone who enjoys the McCabe & Savage series I think would like this one as well.
The three books so far in this series are all stand alone books and can be read in any order, the same main characters are in all.
Eric Martin does a very good job narrating.
This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great listen! Loved the real world converging with internet hysteria to create a very current thriller

I loved this Mike Omer book. I feel like he really thoroughly does his research especially when building a world where internet sleuths and real detectives are all chasing the same case. I frequent many of the sites described in the book and I just loved that I could be completely immersed in the story he was weaving because all those components were right on the money. I always get annoyed when I watch like SVU on tv and they completely change how social media actually functions to sensationalize everything. That is not needed! The reality of social media is strange and completely complex and riveting as it already is. I think you are going to have fun being brought along this case if you listen to this book. Also, the performance is stellar, again, I wouldn't change anything. This is actually my third favorite book of this author, so if you like this one, you DEFINITELY want to get the newest one too!

Gripping story

Omer's best yet in this series. Lead character Hannah is intense, focused and smart. But has moments of human failings as we all do. It just makes her more interesting. Her interactions with partners and FBI agents is a little over the top and actually made me have moments of disliking her character! She at times was too stubborn and rigid about solving the case. The kidnapping and search for Abigail was very suspenseful and edge of your seat. Really enjoyed the book!

A Kidnapped Daughter and Family Secrets

We learn there is more to this kidnapping than just ransom. Why aren’t the parents revealing everything they know? This riveting story is hard to pause for any reason. You’ll make up reasons to listen to the end.

Outstanding police procedural earns 5 stars!

I follow the reviews of Audible Listener Shelley who found the Glenmore Park Mystery series. Two of the three novels earn 5 stars while the other one earns 4 stars.

Web of Fear is a very complex apparent kidnapping for ransom of a12 year old girl. With the twists and turns guessing the outcome will be impossible for even the most expert mystery solvers. There is lots of action and the suspense is intense. Narrator Eric Martin does a fantastic job!

Glenmore Park Mystery series and especially this novel will appeal to lovers of opaque mysteries.
