I loved the story, good twists and turns. Thoroughly enjoyed it by the incessant “stop, stop, stop!” Flashback was much too overused and became annoying to hear every other chapter.

Great story - just when you think you’ve worked it all out something will pop up to challenge your ideas.
Narrator was good but too slow for me so listened on 1.2x and it was all good 😊

I love Andreas books. She writes from a young woman’s perspective so well, it’s as if the thoughts are my own. Great story. Really enjoyed this.

I got into this story and binge listened any time I could.
I think listening to Carey mulligan narrate had a lot to do with it- thought she was brilliant (especially now I’m trying to get through a good story with a terrible narrator!).
The ending was disappointing for me but still worth the read. I’m finding it hard to find a good story with an end that satisfies me these days ;)

Oh my gosh, what a great book, twists and turns all the way through it. Narration was excellent and such a fantastic story I can’t wait to see the movie they will surely make of this terrific book.

Overall a very easy & enjoyable read. I found the story intriguing and I couldn’t wait to get back to it. I loved the ending and I found the characters compelling, especially Kristen and I would have loved to hear from Kirsten’s point of view. However, I found there was quite a bit of repetition in terms of recapping their previous experiences, and Emily’s feelings surrounding what had happened, which became a bit tedious but overall didn’t take away from the story. I would I definitely would recommend this book to others who enjoy psychological thrillers.

Wow, this storyline had more twists and turns than a mountainous road. Even the very last sentence had me saying "what the heck?" Only problem with books like this - it sets your expectations too high and difficult to find other books just as juicy.
