About this listen
Zara Riddle would do anything for her daughter. Zoey Riddle is studious and kind. She's a dream teenager who plays the harp like an angel.
Everything changes when a new boy arrives at Zoey's high school and catches her eye. Soon, Zoey is behaving in a very un-Zoey-like fashion.
What's a mother to do when her perfect teen daughter falls for the baddest boy around?
Besides gather the coven, cast a bunch of half-baked spells, and make everything much, much worse?

I feel hollow and depressed after listening to the end of this.
I came for a light hearted mystery and got a heart wrenching tragedy instead. If the characters that died doesn't come back then this series is ruined for me. The ending to this book is painful to listen to. And it haunts you hours after you have finished it. I don't even know if I can read the rest of the series after this. Especially seeing the next book is in the perspective of my least favourite character. I want more of Zara's POV and I want the character we lost back. This series is now just tragedy after tragedy. If it doesn't pick up in the next book with something good happening to the Riddles then I won't be reading Book 16.
