I would have appreciated trigger warnings. I almost DNF'd this multiple times. I loathe when there is a BFF relationship, but they keep secrets from each other.
I liked the realistic portrayal of PTSD, but Lauren as his love interest and victim and then they have a happy ending didn't make me happy.
At least there wasn't a surprise pregnancy.

I'm so torn about it I liked this or not.
