I enjoyed the first book a lot and this wasn’t a bad follow up. It lets itself down a bit with the Grimes character who is tough and as good as anybody else on the team yet the author has her weeping and widening her eyes like a teenager at random times - as if she’d do this based on what we know of her! Other than that if you see past the rah rah of Americans first it’s an entertaining listen. Ray Porter is excellent as always

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. It maintained my interest throughout most of the story, then when it got to the end I was completely captivated. Couldn’t stop listening. I felt that I was in amongst them. I highly recommend this book to anybody who enjoys listening to heartbeat raising action.

Likeable characters and engaging plot. Can be read as a stand alone and is also one of many in a string of books. The narrator has a great and compelling voice and the story journey really gets you in. Well worth a read.

Excellent continuation story. Cannot stop thinking Dempsey is a real asshole! A liability as a supposed team member and a genuine slow thinker in anything but the tactical situation. That said, I enjoyed the series so far. 👌

Arab names sometimes hard to sort who was who but a good romp. Fail understand why main character ditched his family.
