Relatable and enjoyable

A private investigator firm is the backdrop to this romance with a twist. The two protagonists, one the boss, one the new investigator, start out hating each other. There’s a lost brother, a cute niece who now lives with the investigator, a drunken parter of the firm and a myriad of warm, intriguing side characters.

I really liked the beginning with the misunderstandings and just the anticipation of the situation the characters were put through. Around mid way it started to lose that charm and there wasn’t a time where I was like “Oooh this will be interesting” Like I thought in the beginning. The ending was nice though and each character’s story was concluded nicely. I guess I wanted a bit more sophisticated drama and forbidden romance like the beginning rather than, “stop making assumptions that she’s cheating on you.”
